A positive path for spiritual living

The Tibetan Buddhist Monks of Tashi Kyil Refugee Monastery of Northern India

The Tibetan Buddhist Monks

of Tashi Kyil Refugee Monastery of Northern India

Unity of Charlottesville is pleased to welcome the monks of Tashi Kyil Monastery for a full week of activities and cultural exchange.  The Tashi Kyil Monastery is one of the smallest and poorest refugee monasteries in India with no support from the Indian government.  During the week, the monks will create a Peace Sand Mandala, do two evening Dharma Talks, and perform their wonderful cultural pageant, "Let's Travel to Tibet."       Proceeds benefit the monks and their monastery
